Anna Wójtowicz-Krawiec PhD
A biotechnologist and genetic engineer, experienced in human resource management. She completed her Ph.D. at the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics, Polish Academy of Sciences. Her Doctoral thesis was awarded by the Polish Biochemical Society and the Merck company – for the best doctoral thesis in biochemistry in 2007 in Poland. She improved her skills in the area of IP and commercialization in the UK at Oxford and Cambridge Universities and in the European Patent Office in Vienna. She participated in receiving a human growth hormone and human insulin analog as a professor assistant at the Institute of Biotechnology and Antibiotics. She is the author and co-author of 6 patents. Before joining Human Biome Institute, she was responsible for the commercialization of research results and for the company’s strategy. She was the manager of development and R&D projects. In 2018 she completed Executive MBA study at the Warsaw School of Economics and in 2020 the Organization and Management of Clinical Trials at the Lazarski University.
