Human Biome S.A. Secures $9M Second Tranche, Bringing Series A Funding to $13M (48M PLN)

We are thrilled to announce the successful closing of the second investment tranche in our Series A round, raising an additional $9 million (33 million PLN). Combined with the $4 million (15 million PLN) secured last month, Human Biome S.A. has now raised a total of $13 million (48 million PLN).

This major milestone places us firmly on track toward our $20 million Series A target. Momentum continues to build rapidly: our third and final tranche of $7 million (27 million PLN) is already fully subscribed, and we expect to officially complete the entire Series A round within the next months.

What’s Next? Accelerating the MicroDrug Platform

The newly secured capital will be immediately deployed to accelerate the development of our proprietary MicroDrug platform.

Specifically, this funding will finance the establishment of our new, state-of-the-art genomic–culturomic laboratory. This advanced facility will focus on an ambitious and revolutionary scientific goal: synthesizing the world’s first fully biosynthetic microbiota, designed from the ground up as a New-Generation Biotherapeutic (NGB) drug.
