Target Groups
The project is primarily addressed to the company implementing the project and its R&D team, who—by preparing the Eurogrant application—will increase their capacity for the further development of innovative therapeutic technology.
Indirect beneficiaries also include research institutions and international partners involved in innovation development under the Horizon Europe program. In the longer term, the project outcomes may also benefit patients and the healthcare system through the development of new treatments for infections caused by antibiotic-resistant bacteria.
Project Objectives
The project aims to prepare the analyses and the application form for a Eurogrant under the Horizon Europe framework program, specifically for the EIC pre-accelerator – Widening call (HORIZON-WIDERA-2025-02-ACCESS-01), organized and centrally managed by the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) acting on behalf of the European Commission.
Project Outputs and Outcomes
The outcome of the project will be the preparation and submission of a Eurogrant application through the Horizon Europe program (EIC Pre-Accelerator – Widening) along with the necessary application documentation.
The implementation of this project will increase the company’s investment readiness and support the development of an innovative drug candidate—a Live Biotherapeutic Product (LBP), being developed to decolonize antibiotic-resistant bacteria (ARB) from the human gut. Looking ahead, the project will contribute to preparing the regulatory and clinical package for this technology and strengthening the company’s overall growth potential.
